Today, in the company of the Honourable Minister of State for Housing, Alh. Yusuf Abdullahi Ata, the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Community Engagement (North-West), Hon. Abdullahi Yakasai, extended warm congratulations to Hon. Garba Yau Gwarmai, the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate who emerged victorious in the recently concluded bye-election for the Ghari/Tsanyawa State Assembly Constituency of Kano State.
In his remarks, Hon. Yakasai commended the resilience and unity of APC members in Kano State, emphasizing that the victory is a clear demonstration of the party’s strength and strategic focus despite the state government being in the opposition.
“This victory shows that even when faced with strong opposition, the APC family in Kano stood firm, went into this contest determined, and came out triumphant. It is indeed a litmus test for what is to come in the next election circles,” Hon. Yakasai stated.
He further expressed optimism that this triumph sets a new direction for the party ahead of future elections, reflecting the confidence of the people in APC’s leadership and commitment to community development.
