In a deeply moving show of respect, a distinguished group of dignitaries today paid condolence visits to the family of Nigeria’s late former President, Muhammadu Buhari, GCFR, at his residence in Daura, Katsina State.
The delegation offered heartfelt prayers for the peaceful repose of the late President’s soul and asked Almighty Allah to comfort his wife, children, extended family, and all those affected by this monumental loss.
The visit did not end there.
The delegation proceeded to the palace of the Emir of Daura, His Royal Highness Alhaji Faruk Umar Faruk, where they extended their condolences to the entire Daura Emirate through the revered monarch. The atmosphere was solemn, yet filled with reverence for a son of the soil whose legacy stretches far beyond his hometown.
Lastly, the group visited the Governor of Katsina State, His Excellency Dikko Umar Radda, to sympathize with the people of Katsina through their leader. They expressed their sorrow and support during this period of mourning, acknowledging the great impact the late President had on the state and the country at large.
